Sutton Literary Festival
The Sutton Literary Festival celebrates the power of words and storytelling, bringing together authors, poets, and audiences to explore themes of culture, identity, and community through literature. As the festival’s filmmaker, I captured thought-provoking discussions, live readings, and the vibrant atmosphere, preserving the moments where writers and readers connected over shared stories and diverse perspectives.

Documentary Filmmaking
As the filmmaker for the Sutton Literary Festival, I used a Blackmagic 6K Pro to capture the event’s warm, inviting atmosphere. To ensure clear, immersive audio, I recorded with a Sennheiser microphone.
In post-production, using Adobe Premiere Pro, I incorporated footage of various author talks, engaging interactions between authors and the audience, and interviews I conducted with members of the Sutton Women Writers. The final edit brings together these elements, offering a cohesive view of the festival’s unique blend of storytelling, connection, and community.
